Thankful to be Back!

It's great to be back in school together to learn!! We each had so much to share with one another today!

Today we began work with the consonant 'f'!

In math, we learned about cubes and a dot cube (or dice)!

In science this week, we will be learning more about animals and their characteristics as we investigate insects and bugs!

In social studies, we will be learning about different Native American tribes to answer some of our questions from our K-W-L chart!

To prepare for Christmas, we are learning about Advent in religion this week as the first day of Advent was celebrated yesterday!  Each child is bringing home an Advent calendar for activities for you to do and/or discuss each day to reflect on preparing for Christmas and spreading joy and love everywhere!

Today we were very excited to find out that there is an elf named Tinker McJingles who has been assigned to our classroom from the North pole!  He brought us a bucket of Christmas books and ornaments to decorate our classroom tree!

FYI: Baby pictures are being brought home today! Thank you for allowing your child to share them with us to learn how we grow and change!!
